Structure

UAVS is run by its members for its membership. The day-to-day operations and management are carried out by a small administration team reporting in to the Chairman of the Council. The UAVS Council is the governing body and meets quarterly.

Since its inception there have been 51 Council Meetings.

The Council is made up of six elected representatives:

General Secretary	John Moreland (Independent)
Acting Treasurer	Mike Lake (Independent)
Head of Representation	Mike Lake (Independent)
Head of Information Services	Colin Burbidge (Independent)

Further representatives are co-opted on to the Council by the Council from time to time to provide a breadth of opinion and expertise on various matters.

Participation by the members in the running of the Association through the Council and by active contributions to the events held by UAVS is essential to the future of the Association.
