Dr Piazzolla is an international student member of UAVS. For the last two years, Dr Piazzolla has been training as an airline transport pilot with the Aernova Flight Training Organization in Italy but he is lo

oking to branch away from manned flight into unmanned MALE/HALE/TUAV aircraft as a UAV pilot after he qualifies in late 2010.  He has specialized during training in instrument flight control in preparation for this.

He has a degree in Degree in Political Science, International Relationship and European Studies.  He is multi-lingual with excellent English to go with his mother tongue, Italian and a working knowledge of both French and German. He recognizes that he does not have any formal engineering qualifications or training but he is prepared to study whatever is required to succeed in the role available.

Dr Piazzolla is currently based in Forlì in Northern Italy, close to Bologna, but is willing to travel to and work throughout Europe.
