Membership

Membership of UAVS is open to companies, academic institutions, related organisations and individuals on an annual subscription basis. UAVS is focused on UK activities and interests but welcomes members from this global industry.

There are two membership types, Ordinary and Associate. Ordinary Members must have a registered place of business and a substantial part of their UAS activity in the UK, are entitled to nominate a representative for one of the elected positions on the Council and may vote during Council Elections. Associate Members are likely to be non-UK companies and organisations and have no voting rights.

There are also 7 membership categories:

Large Company or Corporation
Medium-sized Company
Small-sized Company
Sole Trader/Individual
Student
Academic Institution
Related Organisations

Subscription rates are linked to the above membership types and categories. Those applying to join the Association may choose the most appropriate category but the Association reserves the right to recategorise an applicant after background checks have been completed.

All subscription rates above are exclusive of VAT.

Value Added Tax

All subscriptions are exclusive of UK Value Added Tax (VAT) or Sales Tax. 17.5% VAT will added to all invoices on organisations registered and resident in the European Union.

Membership Application

The on-line membership application system allows instant payment of subscription fees by credit card. Off-line methods can also be selected.

All applications will be reviewed by Council and will be subject to the Council's acceptance of the application.

For on-line applications and payment transactions a full receipt will be provided. For off-line payment processes an Invoice will be sent once the application has been processed.
